Partiendo de pequeños tarritos de pigmeto, hemos de conseguir el color exacto a la muestra de tela, zapato, bolso que nos han prestado como muestra.
Quizá esta a veces muy complicada tarea se haya visto facilitada en mi caso por mis dotes para la pintura, lo que no resta horas y horas en algunos casos para conseguir el tono deseado.
Como dificultad añadida, no todos los tejidos pigmentan igual, lo que complica el trabajo cuando en una pieza queremos combinar tul, encaje, plumas y sinamay, por poner un ejemplo.
Tras sumergir decenas de tiritas de la fibra a teñir, llegamos al color deseado. Varios paseos por distintos tipos de iluminación (luz natural, siemre) hasta que lo tenemos claro, y listo.
El resultado nunca deja de fascinarme, la verdad.
